LIFT WC

LIFT WC (Local Initiative For Transformation – Webster City) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to community betterment in Webster City, IA. Our mission is to revitalize underutilized spaces, foster social connections, and empower local businesses. Currently, we're focused on the restoration of the historic Elks Building, transforming it into a vibrant community venue that will support local events, cultural initiatives, and downtown revitalization. By creating accessible spaces for all, LIFT WC is committed to strengthening the heart of Webster City for future generations.

Our first project is to revitalize the Elks Lodge building located at 713 Second Street in downtown Webster City. Our three goals for this project are:

1. Restore the historical building and get it back into a useable state.
2. Create an attractive space for business to enhance the social and cultural life of the community.
3. Catalyze and fund future building transformations.
